Very smooth process from start to finish. To start, the communication from the office with scheduling and answering questions I had for the inspection was outstanding. This is my first home I've purchased and is also a new build, so I had a ton of questions. The office was very responsive and worked with me to schedule my service with a quicker turn around than originally anticipated. Leonard was on time, walked me through the property, and answered all of my questions. He was very thorough and really knowledgeable - even made some notes on my report so when I complete my final walk through with the builder I would remember some of the things I had called out and asked him about. I highly recommend Ellingwood Pro for home inspection services. I am purchasing a home out of state so could not be at the inspection, and the Ellingwood team coordinated flawlessly with the seller to arrange access to the house and was extremely professional and communicative with me at all times. They were also very proactive in ensuring I received a timely report and answering any follow-up questions. Their report was thorough, easy to understand, and filled with helpful photo documentation. Not only did the inspection go through, the inspectors (he was training a new hire), talked me through everything they did. Everything they saw. I learned things. That in and of itself was priceless. The inspection, although it felt expensive when I booked, feels more than fair, in MY favor, after the fact. I will be hiring again for a second cursory inspection, not the full sha-bang, after remediation and the current tenets vacate. Truly sorry I forgot the names, long day. Many people.
